Love LBT, not my favorite show :(
Personal reasons aside, this was not my favorite show, even though I have seen them about 10 times and always enjoyed their beautiful vocal performances. I had been looking to propose during "Sober" or as a backup, "Bring it on Home," but neither song was played. I had a plan "B" in mind, informing my group that I would propose during the first encore song, but to my surprise, there was no encore at all. I was left stunned as the lights came on and I found myself with a ring in my pocket, thinking this couldn't be real. Over the last 6 months, I had been trying to coordinate a proposal at one of their shows in any city, reaching out to the band, management team, venues, and even SiriusXm for assistance, but to no avail. In the end, we returned to my place and I played "Sober" on my Ipod to complete the mission. Including LBT in the proposal was important because they have been a significant part of our relationship since my fiance's father passed away nearly 4 years ago. Despite the slight disappointment with the set list, it was still a great show. Hopefully, we can catch them again on the honeymoon :)
